installed all need rigging harness gauges and controls, all wired engine starts runs fine but no tack or hours and no warning beeps even if you the lanyard. checked dip switchs all good , i thought whe you firt turn the key there should be a beep or two any help would great, thx for your time,

Single Yams do not beep at key on.

The warning horn should sound if the kill switch lanyard is pulled and the key is turned to the start position.

Tachometers are optional.

There are some that record tachometer hours and some that don't.

There are tachometers that display ECU hours for those motors having that capability.

Do you have a switch panel? The warning horn is behind the panel. Powered with battery voltage when the key is on. ECU grounds the horn to make it sound. Easily tested. Apply battery voltage to the yellow wire. Ground the pink wire. Horn should sound.

Are you saying there is no tachometer installed or that a tachometer is installed but not displaying hours? Some don't. Some you have to page through the device to get to the hours.

I have new dual gauges the tack is 6y5 8350 t and speed 6y5-83570- a0 flush mount control new 10 pin harness also trim and oil harness, new key switch 64d82570-32 , everything was plug and play, now the tack lights up with a 0 doesn’t change when running also same gauge there’s hours that read zero I know the motor has 780 hrs it’s like cpu is not signal the tack, the trim is indicating on the trim side of the gauge works, thx again for your guys input

Also 6y583553-no from key too the dual gauges

The 6Y5 tachometer does not display ECU hours. Only hours recording within the tachometer itself. If the tachometer is new it will only display 0 hours.

A green wire in the ten pin harness provides the tachometer signal to the tachometer. Via the dual fused harness.
