Recently bought a boat that ha

Recently bought a boat that had been sitting for a while. The steering was frozen so in fixing that we had the engine laying on its side for a few days. Now the engine wont start. The starter cranks but no catch. I checked the spark plugs and there looks like some oil residue is on them. I also hooked up a fresh gas tank to the engine but still no start. Any help would be great!
