"Out on the bay, and my power trim all of the sudden stopped working. You can hear the motor activating for both up and down, but no movement of the outboard. Opened the cap on the reservoir, and a bit of hydraulic fluid leaked out, but not much. After cycling the up/down switch for a while, looks like the pump caught prime and I was able to move the outboard. Later, the same thing happened. Does this sound like a hydraulic motor or pump starting to fail, or could it be a low fluid level? To my knowledge, the hydraulic fluid has never been changed in 240 hours. What kind of maintenance should be done on this? Appreciate the feedback."
