Yamaha 150 4-stroke 'bucking' on acceleration

my yamaha 150 -4s bucks on acceleration. it will go up to ten mph, but any acceleration beyond it bucks heavily and boat will not reach a plane. Any ideas?

This engine will need some simple checking and some involved service.

How long wast this engine sitting with out use?

First thing, you will need to get a fuel pressure gauge (Sears has an inexpensive gauge) and check the fuel pressure on top of the fuel rail. You will see the pressure port. Now after you install the gauge, run the engine up and see what the pressure is when it starts to "Buck".
