WTB: 800 hydro/mechanical pump

Hi Guys, I'm in need of a pump housing or complete pump for a '78-'81 800 series lower unit. The aluminum housing is damaged but the oil pump cover w/ screen and gears are fine. I'll take whatever I can get if someone can help. All else with the drive is fine but we would consider a full mechanical unit if the price was right. Thanks

ebay. Your better off upgrading to the full mechanical shift unit. You did not mention what motor, but i bet you know already you need a like upper gear ratio to what you have.

What motor ?

Thanks Chief, Engine is a Chevy V8. The drive is in nice shape other than the pump housing. Upper shafts are nice and lower cable is in great shape. I know all the bad raps these drives get but this one has been flawless for the past 12 years I've been taking care of it. Thanks

I have no clue if he has one or not, but he is deep into the older OMC stuff. That's his "Bread'n Butter", so to speak.
