WOT adjustment

Any info on how to adjust WOT on my 1994 V6 Oceanrunner.

The butterflies are just off being fully opened with throttle wide open, however the cam that pushes them open has already reached its highest peak.
Any help would be great

The roller that the cam is pressing against.....

In the distant past, the roller was a one piece substance and was roughly 3/8" in diameter.

At some point in the not too distant past... some brilliant engineer re-designed the roller to be a two piece component consisting of a small black roller with a clear plastic covering to make up the 3/8" diameter.

The clear covering has a tendency to break away which leaves the roller dropping in size to approximately 1/8" or so which results in the problem you describe. Check the size of the roller.

Timing is set static on this motor and you need a Ignition Analyzer set the Ignition analyzer to position A for V6 motors to do idle and WOT timing .

Wow... Interesting. I also have a v6 Ocean Pro. I just went through a complete link and sync to include adjusting the gap at the cam pickup. There was an 1/8 inch gap between the roller and the cam. I got it all to line up and now the gap is .005 and the pin on the roller lines up with the line on the cam.

So, there is a clear piece that wraps around the black piece? Weird. So, are all my adjustments for not? Do I need to get this piece and start over? Or is it now good because I adjusted all of the linkage? The black piece on mine is still there.
