"I have a 1997 Sea Pro I/O 3hp

"I have a 1997 Sea Pro I/O 3hp 4 cyl engine. I've used it the last 4 weekends in a row. Yesterday, I dropped it in the water and the engine wouldn't turn over. (batterys fine so are all the fluid levels, oil, gas, etc). The engine looks great, it was rebuilt in 07. What are some of the probable causes?"

"I have no clue what a 3hp sea pro is,but the first thing I would check is the safety lanyard switch both by hand and a DVM.Then the main fuse or breaker from the POS battery terminal to the starter."
