I have a question about my 99 mercury 40 autolube 3 cil.
I got 3 of these engine in parts but not complete. the 2005 i sold which cover the cost plus a small profit.
The 97 i keep for parts and i would like the 99 behind my boat.
There was only one set of 40 hp carbs which i used on the 2005 but there is a set of wm or wme 22 carbs.
The 55 hp used these carbs and the 60 hp what i found out but i need them on the 40 if that is possible. Now, the exhaust of the 40 is more restricted than of the 55 and 60, so i have to keep that in mind when choosing the jets.
Anyone have experience with this or has a idea which jet to use.
