"Well 4 long years, and we will be boat testing today. Boat just needs lots of cosmetics. Engine, well..... It fired right up on Friday and once the warm lift cable was adjusted it sat and idled perfectly.
Thanks to ALL(Joe and JWB come to mind) who give of their knowledge so freely here on this board. And to Andrew for supplying parts and hosting this forum.
Last registration sticker on this boat was 1992.
Engine has had carbs rebuilt, water pump, coils, lower unit fluid and one seal changed."

"Well it was a big success. Only trouble was a pinched fuel line, easily fixed on the water, and a leaking water jacket gasket.
One gasket ought to do.
Ran wide open @ 26 mph (2 adult 2 kids aboard)according to my son's GPS.
We ran it steadily wide open for 15 minutes. I cannot think of anything to do but enjoy and work on the cosmetics.
