"Can anyone here help me with my next project?
I have a new bait well aerator that I want to hook up on a toggle switch.

The aerator has 2 wires coming from it and my toggle switch has 2 terminals on it. My problem is I don't quite know which is the best, correct (easiest) way to wire this thing. No instructions came with either the pump or the switch.

I have space to mount the switch on my dash and all my fuse panels are there too."

"Hi there,

Determine which is the positive and negative leads on the device.

The negative is wired straight to the ground circuit on the harnass.

The positive should always be switched. Take positive lead from device to one terminal on the switch, other switch terminal through a fuse to the positive busbar.

Make sure that the fuse has the correct amperage rating and that the wire you are using is of the correct guage (thickness).

Simple!

Benjamin."
