does anyone have a wiring diag

does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 79 bahama? i am re doing a bunch of wiring tryin to get rid of the birds nest.

what color are the fuel guage wires?
where does the tach wire go?

Fuel gauge for example..... We talking at the sending unit, or at the helm instrument panel?
You have a power wire to the gauge....., a ground wire for both sender and gauge....... and sensing wire to idendify (often a light redish or pinkish color).... but you will need to varify this. I don't know your hull.

Tach wire... which end are we talking about?
Again, this will have a power wire to the actual gauge, a ground wire and sensing wire from the ignition coil (likely a gray wire, by the way).


Assuming this is Volvo Penta and that you are having an electrical issue, try pulling your main harness connection apart (where the engine harness meets the hull harness) and examine each terminal... look for any corrosion."

"ok. its a volvo aq120b. with a volvo 270 out drive. it was re wired. i figured out the fuel guage. now i just need to know where the tach wire goes?? im used to them going on the distrubitor, but there is no place for it??

so i want to know where the tach wire goes on the engine?
