Sorry you had to wait so long for an answer to your question. Generally, this forum is quite good at resolving problems for VP owners. My recommendation to you is to go to your owners manual and look at the tilt system wiring diagram. You should be able to answer your own question that way... If you don't have an owner's manual, you can easily download one from this site.

yes you can because I have done it .it a matter of hooking up the wire that came on the original swich and by a little trial and error you should be able to figure it out.
