"I took the wires off the distributor cap, now I don't know which ones go where on the new cap. It's a Volvo Penta AQ131D, 1989."

"The firing order is 1-3-4-2 c

"The firing order is 1-3-4-2 clockwise. You will have to put number one cylinder in TDC (compression), then remove the distributor cap and see towards which lead in the cap is the rotor pointing. This is where the number one spark plug wire should be connected. The rest is easy."
