Winterizing question

I have a 1999 2 cycle 115 hp Mercury Outboard. I live in the Detroit area, and went to winterize the boat today. I fired it up and put 5 gallons of antifreeze in, but I was never get it to stream going from above. When I had the mouse ears on it just previous and was streaming waster in from the hose, it was coming out.

I do not think it is really clear what your problem is.
I hope you did not put the antifreeze in the fuel?

Drop lower unit and inspect water pump impeller. No need for antifreeze if motor is left in upright position,it will drain by itself. Run engine dry of fuel,and use STA-BIL in fuel system.Drain lower unit oil,inspect,and refill.
