Please bear with me this is the first outboard I have ever owned. I believe it is a 1976 35hp Evinrude model number 35653S. Most things I have read mentions fogging engine via the carbs. However I have been unable to locate the carbs on my motor. A friend mentioned it may not have carbs. I would appreciate any help possible. Thanks

"Mark,
I can only offer this. Given the fact that you can not locate the carburetors.
Take the motor and have the work done or buy a shop manual for the motor.

Good luck."

Winterizing is fairly easy if you follow the step-by-step instructions. I'd be glad to talk you through finding the carb or other missing engine components.

BTW, Carb in your engine is an aluminum part, in front of motor (easy to get to) - has a hole for air to enter engine...

"Thanks for the help outboardwizard, I found the evinrude site and it had drawings for my engine model. The carb was hidden under a piece of hard plastic."
