Can anyone point me in the dir

Can anyone point me in the direction of a winterizing thresd for a 318 chrysler water cooled? I found many on raw water cooled but few on fresh water cooled like I have. The boat is a 27'1975 silverton that I inherited from a friend. He loved the boat and the engine compartment is spotless.I really need to winterize this ASAP as Imworried I waited to long
Thank You
Willie

"Here's my list:

1. Add fuel stabilizer to fuel tanks

2. Pump out holding tank, flush with fresh water, pump out again. (Note: You have to winterize the BOAT, not just the engines.)

3. Do oil and filter change.

4. Have boat hauled, power washed, and blocked properly.

5. Remove all drain plugs. Place where you can find them in the Spring.

6. Remove thermostat and 6 engine/ exhaust system drain plugs. Clean gasket t-stat surfaces thoroughly, then reinstall with new gaskets (Leaving the t-stat out). Pour Pink Stuff in the strainer with the motor running until it comes out the exhausts.

7. Fog the intake by rolling the motors over with the coil wire out

8. Duct tape exhaust outlets and flame arrestor closed

9. Drain water tank. Install by-pass in water heater. Add 1 gallon of pink stuff. Run water system pump and all faucets until pink appears, including head and shower wand.

10. Remove drain in shower sump, drain, reinstall drain, add pink stuff and run until line is purged.

Some of these may not apply, but you need to think of them all.

Jeff

PS: Love your name!"
