I just bought a boat last year

I just bought a boat last year and am moving to a colder climate and need to winterize the boat. I bought the boat used so I do not have an owners manual. Can someone explain how to go about winterizing?

Manufacturers recommend making a fuel mixture for winterizing. Take an ordinary 50:1 fuel/oil mix and add fogging oil to it at 25:1, ( I also add an equal amount of Marvel Mystery Oil), and add a double dose of fuel conditioner. Run the engine with this mix for about fifteen minutes.

This is considered sufficient for a three month lay up.

It is a good idea to drain and fill the lower unit at this time just in case there might be some water in the gear oil.
