winter storage

Since Im new to outboards, I need to know the steps to winterize this 1977 85hp evinrude.

Get a can of storage oil and inject that while running ( gas hose disconnected ) motor to empty the carburetors.-------Make sure there is no water in lower unit gear oil.----Store motor in normal running position.------Use about 1/4 of the can of storage oil.
