Motor has developed a problem of not wanting to start when warm(will turn over fine).

Took to dealer where they replaced relay per service bulletin. Has made no difference.

Here are troubleshooting steps I have done:

1. Take boat to lake.

Pump fuel bulb until hard.
Motor starts and runs fine, run motor 45 min(idle to wide open)
Turn motor off with key.
Try to restart, motor will crank but not start

Fuel vs Fire: Spark plugs are dry, Mechanical fuel pump is pumping fuel,

no sound from elec fuel pump when key turned on.

Check fuses

Check all connection's

After 40-45 min, Motor starts and runs fine.

15 min boat ride to trailer, runs fine.
Turn motor off with key, Would not restart

2. Next trip to lake:

Before launching boat, check fuel system

Turn key on hear elec fuel pump

remove plug on back of fuel pump good flow and pressure
Test voltage to pump, (12 volts noted)

Take boat out for 35 min, back at trailer same thing

do not hear elec fuel pump, no flow at pump

Test voltage to pump, (12 volt noted)

Need help with next step, vapor separator vs fuel pump?

Check out this post. http://www.marineengine.com/boat-forum/showthread.php?t=378831&highlight=bf130

The 130 is the same as the 115 but with one different part. This one did not start ever, but we go through everything that it takes to make the fuel pump operate...in nausiating detail.

If you are not getting 12v to the fuel pump when you turn on the key, it is not the pump or vst. It is power feed:the relay assembly that was changed;fusing;key switch assy or wireharness; or ecm.

There is something in those items that are not doing what they should when they get hot.

When you turn on the key, the ecm gets power through one of the relays in the module that was changed. It in turn, sends a ground to operate the fuel pump relay in that same module. Either the ecm is not sending the ground or the fuel pump relay is not sending the power to the fuel pump.
