Will not run

My 1967 9.5 hp johnson will not run if i prime the carb it will try to start but no go.there is fuel to the carb but i don`t see any fuel going into the bowl. I took the carb apart and the float looks ok the needle was sticking but i freed it up that seens to be ok any ideas . Thanks. Puppychow

I have one and they are reliable but not too powerful.

Have you taken the drain plug out of the float bowl, pumped the primer bulb and see if fuel comes out??
