"guys I have a 115 HP mercury

"guys I have a 115 HP mercury thinderbolt, it just to run fine until I put new carbs on it, I "sync" it and it idles good, revs up good but at soon as it goes on gear it dies any ideas?, no problems with the pumps, it has spark on all 6 cyls timed and sync..., it will go on gear with the ear muffs on but not in the water"

With the muffs there is no " load " on the motor and any motor will keep running with no load.Your compression test shows ?????. Try opening all slow speed needles 1/8th turn at a time to see if improves in the water.
