"I have a 98 225 efi and I'm having problems with the oil system. The lower tank isn't feeding the resevior on the engine. I had this same problem two years ago and a new cap on the upper tank needed replacement. It's staring again so I've been trying to find my leak. All the hose connections are made with wire tie type clamps. Is there a reason for this? seems to me a pressurized system would need a more reliable connection.
Any other feedback on diagnosis would be appreciated.
