"What brand & type spark plugs should I use on my 89 XP200 Evinrude? I have heard good things about Iridium plugs. Are they worth the extra money? What is recommended by the manufacture, the part # and the gap?

ps; The VRO unit is still hooked up and working. (was replaced last year.)

"Over the years,i have gapped thousands of plugs at 40...BRP,is now rec they be gapped at 30,as per your question,..that is from the manfg.I am rec good results gaping at 35...the 40 seems to burn up fast,esp in V-4 /V-6's"
