Which parts are interchangeable between a 1985 20 HP?

Just curious. The motor is running fine now. I know a lot of the major parts for my motor are obsolete, so I may need to look for a basket case or garage sale engine at some point.

That is a tough question to answer without knowing what part you need. Let's just say there are a lot of similarities between the 20-25-30-35 motors of the time period. And some differences also. If it passes a visual look-see, you probably have a good shot at it.
