Which model do I have??

My recently purchased boat is a 1982 18.5 ft. renken bowrider. Where can I find what model it is for insurance and parts. IMG_0054.jpg

I think you may have a 950 or 995 B/R V W/T, based on it being an 82. Check the beam dimension. The 950 is listed as 7'9", as the 995 is 7'2". The 950 is listed as 18', where as the 995 is 19', but don't worry about the length, check the beam. Hope this helps!
 
Thanks for any info on my boat. So the 18' actually has a wider beam then the 19' boat. That's :rolleyes:funny cause the man I bought it from said it was an 18.5 ft. boat. Maybe he was just trying to stretch the 18 ft. a little:).
 
Some times it gets real stupid! He might have been told it was 18.5, or he might have measured it. The HIN# should give you the model year, which may or may not be the year of manufacture. Is it measured LOA or LWL. Bottom line is "is it big enough for you?" Looks like a really nice boat, but the insurance company will only pay replacement on published whole sale for average conditon.
