Which Engine?

I am restoring a pre 90's 23 foot boat. It has an Alpha Gen 1 complete outdrive system. At one time it was powered by a 5.7L engine which is no longer with the boat. So, I am looking at what engine to get. I have the following all from a 5.7L engine:

5.7L Wire Engine Wire Harness with shift bracket
Thunderbolt IV System
Distributor
Pulleys
Alternator
Engine Mounts
Bell Housing
Flywheel and Coupler
Intake Manifold (346250)
Quadrajet for 305 (MCM228)
Exhaust Manifolds with Risers
Bull horn exhaust

I am considering a 1994 vintage 5.7L or 1998 vintage vortec 5.7L. How much of the above will work with a vortec long block?

Recommendations on route to go? Cruise boat for lakes and lite fishing.

probably all of it .If the intake manifold is 12 bolt it wont work on a 8 bolt vortec heads

Ayuh,.... I agree,... the intake manifold is where the bolt holes got moved,.... in that time frame,....
