whether to leave VRO? connected on 2001 70hp johnson

Hi,not too sure if its a VRO on a 3 cylinder 70hp,but should I disconnect it and run a premix,or leave it alone if its working ok.Ive seen how you can check the vro pump by measuring the pulses by using length of clear tube filled with oil,and seeing if the level goes down by marks made on the tube.Also if I did use premix,could I still use the original pump but with the oilline blocked and wiring unplugged? Any help greatly appreciated,thanks

If the vro is working okay, leave it alone. If you want to you can also use it for just a fuel pump by disconnecting the oil side and wiring and using premix fuel.
