just thought i would ask...whe

just thought i would ask...where can i order online.... rings for my 1979 mercury 150. getting the cylinder bored as i type.... going with the oversized piston... so far the piston price for the 1 oversized is about $117.00... now i need rings for the other 5 original pistons... 1 place i checked is $30.00 for each set of 2.... the other place wanted $257.00 for a set of six...can it get any better?????

"Jimmy, Is that motor an inline six? You may try the dealer for the ring sets. It seeems to me I got a set at the dealer for a lot less. The inline pistons with the power port are available for $80-90, but you need to poke around. Pistons are avail at www.Maxrules.com for $99ea. Rings are avail at outboardparts.com/mercury/mall for $9/set"
