me again. been a while. the question is about a 150hp merc. was told it was about '78. it is totaly black, with what i think is hyd trim. where is m/n and s/n located on this motor?

The serial no will be on a pla

The serial no will be on a plate mounted on the transom bracket. If it is missing look on top of the motor for a round welsh plug. It will be there too.
