Where do my plug wires go?

I did a tune up on my new to me 2004 bayliner with 4 cyl. 3.0L/LX alpha one ser. #0W028910 and delco est ignition.
New plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

I was careless & relied on my memory instead of drawing a schematic or plugging into the new cap.

This is how I wired it: with cyl. #4 from the transom forward #3,2,1. with the distributor cap post farthest from
the engine on the right side, I numbered #1.

Clockwise from the #1 distributor, I wired #1 cyl. 3, 4, 2. My owners manual seems to show 1,4,3,2.

The great picture from this forum on a delco est ignition seems to show 3,4,2,1, or unless its turned 1/4 it would be 1,3,4,2

I think the way I did it is right, but I've gotten more confused. Help

remove #1 sparkplug, rotate motor until you feel a puff of air, slowly turn motor until #1 is at TDC
Remove dist cap and see where the rotor is pointing
this is #1 wire and the rest go 3,4,2 clockwise
