Just finished watching a sad ending to a boating accident.

Boat racing around in a VERY TIGHT circle at WOT. Empty boat.

High winds. whitecaps, +20' center console OB.

At 75 I do the same stunts. No safety lanyard used. No tension on the steering to keep the boat from running me over. Etc.

Worst is I actually do not wear a life jacket while fishing alone.

I have seen the light. Full safety gear from now on.
My excuse is I fish in 1' to 6' of water. Close to shore lines.

His boat was circling right where I fish very often.
