I use to have an 18' Wellcraft. I always knew when it was up on plane I could feel it. With my current boat 25' CC express cruiser I find it hard to tell. I have trim tabs so I can play is it correct to say as the RPM come up when I adjust the tabs I am coming up on plane. Is there and easier way to tell? Size of wake? I'm sure I get there just not sure when.

"When you chop the throttle, the hull drops back down into the water. That's the most obvious sign of having been on pllane.
