What year of 115 OMC is the same

"Hi, i am replacing the power head on my boat i am trying to figer out what years are the same as the motor in my boat it is a 115 V4 1994 OMC, i think that a Johnson/Evinrude is the same? i just need a year to year range. my email is [email protected] please if you can shed some light on my project please email me."

I am new to boating and am wondering what the two small holes are in the lower units port side and what they are for? Also any advice on geting an owners manual for post 80's models of an evinrude? Any help thanks
