What year is this Johnsson 90 hp VRO?

Hi there.

This will be my first post - my name is Leo and I live in Sweden.

I am currently looking at a few boats, and one of the boats has a claimed 1998 Johnsson 90 hp VRO.

Could you please help me to verify if this seems probable, since there is no sticker with model / serial I took some pictures and hope the forum will be able to help out.

The engine has not seen the best of care as you can see....

Need a picture of the cowling if it has not been painted or altered.-----The red plug on the harness was not used in 1998 for one thing.
 
That appears to be late 1980's ( 86 / 87 / 88 )---------Need picture of the side of the cowling.-----------------Good solid motor.----Do a compression test before handing over the money !!
 
Right now I cant supply more pictures of the cowling.

So it seems that the engine is 10 years older than the seller says?

Hmmm....
 
Motors are often mis-identified by 10 years.--------See that all the time.-------------Must be common all around the world.
