what year is my outboard?

hey everybody, i recently got a free mercury outboard (mercury kiekhaefer 110), and wanted to know the year. on the side of the leg there was a serial code (220 493) and under it said made in toronto. and also it needs a new shift lever does anyone know if theres a place online that still sells them thanks. also the mixture is 50:1 right?

50:1. Not sure of year--what color is the wrap? I make 'new' shift levers from a socket welded to an arm.

the cowel and leg are all black, and the mercury logo is red
