I have an old 50hp Blueban Mercury with a serial number of 6011440 can some nice person tell me what year this would be?Thanks

Blue band means it is newer than 71------I would say it is an 82 model.

Actually this one comes up as an MERCURY - ( 50 H.P. (E) (1980) Serial No: 06011440 Model No: 1050500

Yes it is a four cylinder.
