I've just bought a boat with Mariner 60e. It says made in Japan. Anyone able to tell me what year is this outboard (#675 L 307701)? What fuel mix should I use for it? Any help much appreciated.

"Your motor is a 1980, Yamaha built Mariner, sold by Mercury. The model is also refered to as 60EL (for 60 horse, electric start, long shaft).

These were a very well built, durable motor, however, the line was discontinued a number of years ago. Regardless, you will find that most parts are available at a Mercury dealer."
