What type of lower unit do i have

i have a 1980 baja with a merc

i have a 1980 baja with a mercruiser model 260 the out drive has a eye on the top cover i have been told it is a pre-alpha i would like to get parts to replace the impeller and pump housing and need to know what to tell these people when i ask for parts so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

"pump and housing are the same, when you take the top and bottom apart see if you have a pin on the top of the drive shaft, (pin = R,or I drive),( no pin = MR )
