What Should I Consider When Choosing a Jet Ski Dock?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to set up a docking solution for my personal watercraft and would appreciate some advice from experienced jet ski owners. What features should I prioritize when choosing a durable and reliable docking system? I’m particularly interested in stability, ease of launching, maintenance requirements, and protection from changing water levels.

I’ve been researching different jet ski dock options, including floating docks and modular platforms, but I’m unsure which works best for long-term use. Are there specific materials or designs that offer better durability and value?

I’d love to hear your recommendations and experiences.

I've had 2 EZPorts for maybe 10 years and have had no issues other than need some strength to get them to roll off. They are the first Gen type which used 3 center rollers, newer ones use rollers on both sides. With first Gen the center rollers would take on some kind of a set if ski sat on them for a day or more. The new style rollers don't appear to have same issue

If your current dock floats than similar floating docks would be good. If it doesn't float than maybe not.

What is your current setup?
