What rpm should an 89 J15RCEC idle at?

"I'm using my timing gun that has a tach which is switchable for 2 or 4 stroke. Local shop stripped the cam follower mounting screw to carb cover, and the new style carb cover uses a stud similar to what the cam roller goes on instead of the screw. Which made it idle a little faster. That's why I was wondering if there was a minimum rpm for idle."
