What number outdrive?

How do I know which outdrive I have? All volvo Penta AQ231A with a duoprop. Do I have 270,280,290,? and what do these numbers signify? thanks
 
According to the literature for the AQ231A, the drive choices would have been 290A, DP-A, SP-A, 275A, 285A and would not include the 270, 280 or pre-A 290.

There should be an ID tag just ahead of and underneath the helmet pin.
If this tag has corroded away, it would be easier for me to see a few photos than it would be to explain further.
