I have a searay with two inboard chevy 350's one cw rotation one ccw rotation.
I am interested in learning how the reverse rotation engine works. what parts are difrent from a standard engine?"

Main difference is the Camshaft,there are other things like starter motor and distributor, timing marks ect when applied to a carburetor engine.

We build GM front covers and the seals are different. There are ribs in the rubber and they run the other way in reverse rotation engines.

The Crankshaft turns backwards,+ Everything else turns the same way it did before.......

It would seem (to me anywa

It would seem (to me anyway) simpler to accomplish the reverse rotation in the gear box. We sell very few reverse rotation cover/seal assemblies so either they are not being used or the wrong seal is being used.
