HI i have a 85 hp evinrude can anyone tell me what this # mean 85593-e also can what is tilt and trim and waht are they use for I always hear about it but dont know what they are for. Hope you guys can help. thanks

Tilt and Trim (PTT) al

Tilt and Trim (PTT) allows one to tilt their engine up and down thru a 15° movement when the engine is running and the boat is underway. This allows the angle of attack of the boat to change in order to obtain the best performance.
