guys any ideas as what motor t

guys any ideas as what motor this might be? I know is an Evenrude and the serial is 604528324

thanks....

"Need to know the model number

"Need to know the model number which should be on a plate on the transom bracket, sometimes also on a core plug on the power-head

BUT that number might be model and serial number combined, especially if is in two parts.

Model 60452 is a 1964 60hp. Does that sound right? If not then you have to find the model number.

You dont give any clues as to its Hp or number of cyls etc. So could be anything from a single cyl 2hp to a 250hp V6"

"In which case you are looking

"In which case you are looking for a model number that will will start E200 possibly preceded by a prefix that you can ignore but followed by a series of letters, maybe a 4 if its a 4 stroke, the last two, all but a meaningless suffix, will be the year letters.

can anyone tell me what I have

can anyone tell me what I have the serial# is J1126438 the mod # is partial obscured I think it is 1110tlodf not sure if the first digit is a 1 or not or if the od is correct it might be a c or g I believe the last is a f but not sure Is there any place under the cover that might have a #? I was told it was a Evinrude but it has a 110 Johnson cover on it. It is a 4 cyl.

"David, instead of hijacking s

"David, instead of hijacking someone else's thread you really should have started your own.

However the first letter is either E for Evinrude or, you've guessed it, J for Johnson. Immaterial usually.

the 110 is obviously the hp

If you look at the link in my previous post you will see that T is tilt and trim and that L is longshaft (20" transom height)

The next two are the year letters. What you think is a O could be U for 7, but more likely C for 8, E for 9 or S for 0. what you think is a D could be or any of the letters of the word INTRODUCES.
Because the 110 is only listed for 1986 to 1989 I guess that its CD which would make it 1986.

The F on the end has no significance

J or E 110TLCDF are valid model numbers

I suggest you clean up the plate and inspect it with a magnifying lens, but you may find the number on a core plug on the power head if you are lucky."
