What is good compression on a 150 johnson

i have a 150 johnson 60 degree

i have a 150 johnson 60 degree head design and the compression is 90 on all 6 cylinders. is that low?
 
i have a 1998 150 also and min

i have a 1998 150 also and mine is 90 too how fast can u go also what type of boat do u have

"u have too many posts going!...on the 60 degree over 100 is pref,80's eng would very commonly turn out in the 90 psi,and be just lovely!"

"on yours,since they r all 90----i would de-carb it -2-3 times....this is the process of spraying fluid in thru carbs,while idling about 900 rpm.1 full can each time...then let it sit for about 3 hours,...do again,..when done,..take it out for a high spd run,..then inst new plugs...this will bring the comp up on alot of eng's,due to freeing up,sticking rings."
