What is a No 30 oil

I bought a 5hp Goodyear outbo

I bought a 5hp Goodyear outboard. It says to mix 1/2 pint No. 30 oil with a gallon of gasoline. Does ayone know what a No. 30 oil is? Is it just a regular SAE 30 motor oil or what? Or is it some special oil?

" Norberto, In the old days (Pre-1964??), non-detergent(SAE-30) single weight automotive oil was used in place of 2 cycle oil. Although this oil is still available, no one uses it since the 2 cycle oil is superior. I am guessing that your Goodyear motor is quite old. "
