What horse power do I have

hi folks....
I have an '8

hi folks....
I have an '87 model 3.0 OMC I/O on my pontoon boat...I bought it 2 years ago and was wondering what horse power the motor was...Can anyone tell me how to find out?...I think the 3.0 came in several different versions from 120 to 140 or so horse power..

"1987 was 130HP at the propshaft (and that's how it was marketed in 87, as a 130), it made 140HP at the flywheel according to OMC

"stat, i belive you are right i have a 88, 3.0 and its rated 130 h.p., seems like 87, 88, 89, was 130, the 2.3 ford motor was 120 in 87, 88, 89 . the 2.5 (gm) motor was not offered from 87, on , just 86, and back. Im thinking the 3.0 86, and earlier was rated at 140 h.p.. Gary if you have the serial of the motor you can trace it down. I do konow that 3.0 L has a lesser h.p. than say a 3.0s or a 3.0 x"
