I have been taking on water for the last month or so. Well today I noticed a hole in the boat under the engine ,about as big as a pencil and water definately was flowing in through it. When I got home I found the hole on the bottom of the boat and put the hose on it and water was entering the engine compartment. So how do I fix this??

Priceless !!!!

you need to do some fiberglassing depending on what caused the hole, age, grounding the boat will depend on how much you will half to do, if you never used fiberglass go to youtube and in the search bar type in fiberglassing a hole in boat they have some great videos of how to do it

Well it turned out the tool before me installed a float switch for the bilge pump and sent the screws through the bottom of the boat. So after I scrapped the float switch the screw holes were taking water, a little jb on the top and bottom and no more water problems.

MarineTex would have been a better choice.

Seems to be holding up for now . I will remove it at end of season and fix it correctly. That marinetex is really good stuff worked like a champ on my port exhaust manifold , that thing had a 6 inch crack from being froze last winter.
