Weber 9600 carburetor

I was rebuilding my Weber 9600 carb and forgot that it had a spring and ball under the primary venturi well I lost the check ball spring is there anything I can use or buy to replace it I don't want to buy another rebuild kit just for the check ball spring?

Ayuh,.... Parts for the edelbrock 1409 are exactly the same as yer Merc/ Weber carb, 'n much cheaper from Edelbrock,....

I know, I looked on the web everywhere Mikes Carburetor,Edelbrock.com, Carbs Unlimited....nobody has just the check ball spring.

if you know the diameter of the ball bet you could buy on somewhere off the web. Same for the spring.
