"I installed a water/fuel separator on my 1999 Yamaha 90C and it works great! Instead of replacing the canister filter every year, i just unscrew it, pour out any trash or water and re-intall it. I pour it out into a clean container so I can see what's in it. Never seems to be much of anything in it. Maybe better than paying $7.00 for a new canister filter? Any ideas?"
